Contactless interrogation. Area of interests incluede techniques for the proximity interrogation through electromagneti coupling of resonant and capacitive sensors for autonomous electronics devices. Main focus is to develop techniques independent from the distance
MEMS sensors and actuators. Area of interest includes the design of MEMS devices and the related front-end electronic circuits. Particularly, acoustic wave sensors based on Flexural Plate Waves (FPW) have been investigated.
Energy Harvesting. Area of interest includes investigation of principles and techniques for energy harvesting from vibrations adopting linear and non-linear conversion techniques.
